Customer Service Team Leader
AFA’s Customer service team leader will supervise Customer service team members to help them achieve goals and complete daily activities, mentor and train team members, provide guidance and assist other Colleagues. This position also maintains technical knowledge of a variety of systems, develops new processes, maintains procedures, identifies areas for improvement and implements change.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree, two years of insurance administration and two years of management experience (or four years of insurance administration experience). Skills needed include: technical, analytical, communication, diplomacy, decision making, leadership, organization and motivational. Candidates should be proficient in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office applications, be capable of managing multiple projects and people, have a positive attitude and be open to change.
Business Systems Configuration Analyst
American Fidelity’s business systems configuration analyst will collaborate with business users, system developers and programmers to ensure alignment of system and business rules. This position will also research and evaluate business solutions to maximize system functionality, analyze production problems, implement solutions and manage system modifications.
Ideal candidates will have three to five years of experience, a bachelor’s degree and FLMI or CSTP certifications. Candidates need analytical, problem-solving, organizational, listening and math skills. They should also be familiar with insurance administration systems, software testing best practices and system design processes. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus.
