women in leadership at american fidelity “We have more than 50 years of experience protecting families like yours by providing voluntary supplemental life and health insurance plans through your employer.”

When you visit, that sentence greets you. But what does that really mean?

“50 years of experience”

Let’s start with the easy part – American Fidelity began in 1960. We have a long history of financial stability, which is important because we provide financial security to our Customers – and our Colleagues.

“protecting families like yours”

American Fidelity provides products and services that help families and individuals protect their income and save for their future.

“providing voluntary supplemental life and health insurance plans”

We offer supplemental insurance, which means insurance that supplements your major medical coverage. For example, our disability income insurance pays a percentage of your salary if you become disabled. Our cancer insurance policies provide additional coverage in case you’re diagnosed with a covered cancer – it may cover medical costs that aren’t covered by your major medical plan or help with travel expenses for treatment.

“through your employer”

American Fidelity partners with employers to provide benefits to their employees. For example, we serve many school districts throughout the U.S. and offer our services to employees of those school districts. We also work with auto dealerships and associations, health care facilities and municipalities.
