Have you ever thought about learning a new language - maybe to boost your career or give yourself the option to communicate with others in their native language? American Fidelity Colleagues have a great training benefit that allows us to participate in the Rosetta Stone program. From beginners to advanced learners, the online program is designed to benefit all levels. I talked to a few of our Colleagues to see why they use it, and this is what they had to say. “To celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I are planning a trip to Brussels. In preparation for the trip and to meet a lifelong goal, I wanted to learn French. I had always wanted to try Rosetta Stone, but wasn’t sure about spending that kind of money. I can’t believe I can use it for free through American Fidelity! After just a few weeks of using it, my husband says I already know more French than he learned studying it for four years!” – Lindsey Sparks “I’ve been wanting to learn Spanish for several years, but wasn’t sure how. I even looked into buying Rosetta Stone, but it is so expensive. When I found out that AFA offers the program, I jumped at the chance. I recently finished the first lesson and I feel like I know so much more than I ever learned in Spanish class in college! I am going to the Dominican Republic soon and can’t wait to use it there. Colleagues can learn a multitude of languages! It’s great for our Customer service Colleagues who talk on the phone with Customers of many different language backgrounds.
