Today while walking the halls of our Home Office building, Colleagues are seeing a lot of younger faces. It’s our annual Bring Your Kids to Work Day. Colleagues are invited to bring their kids and grandkids who have completed third through eighth grades. Nearly 150 are signed up to spend the morning at American Fidelity learning more about the Company. This year’s theme is “Throwback Thursday: 80s Style!” In addition to having fun by dressing in styles from the 80s for a costume contest, the kids will get a look at technology used in the 1980s along with what is used today. They’ll be invited to brainstorm what will be used 30 years from now. Some of the kids will attend a job fair while another group will go on a scavenger hunt around the office. It’s totally awesome, dude! What’s exciting for us is knowing that these kids who come to work with their parents and grandparents are the future of American Fidelity. We expect that some of them will be Colleagues in 10 to 15 years, and others may become our Customers. We appreciate the opportunity to get to know our co-workers kids. It’s always a fun-filled day for kids and Colleagues alike! How do the kids in your life learn about the Company where you work?
