Ask any American Fidelity Colleague what they like best about working here, and most of the time you’ll get the same answer: The people! It’s true that our Colleagues become members of our family, and relationships are vitally important. But the other aspect is that we get to work with some of the best talents in their fields. And we’re not just saying that because they’re family. Colleague Chris Gilchrist recently accepted recognition as one of Oklahoma’s 30 Under 30. 30/30 Next Gen honors Oklahomans age 30 or younger who have proven to be innovative, creative and inspiring leaders in the arts, entertainment, business, media, sports, technology and other areas of impact. Chris is a senior risk analyst who works with our chief risk officer in financial management services. He’s not just an asset to American Fidelity; Chris also works with the Boathouse Foundation and the Leadership Oklahoma City LOYAL program. Chris is known around the Company as someone who brings ideas to address challenges. “Chris has a dedication to excellence and constant improvement that he consistently demonstrates in his interactions with Colleagues,” said his boss, Chief Risk Officer David Maberry. “He is never satisfied with the status quo and consistently seeks to challenge the norm when confronted with opportunities for improvement.” Chris and the other 29 honorees are depicted in the online magazine ionOklahoma.
