New Hires at AFA: Featuring a Customer Service Colleague

Shaking hands It’s time to welcome the newest faces to our American Fidelity team. The past month has been a big one for our field sales teams as they have added nine Colleagues between American Fidelity Educational Services (AFES) and the Association Worksite Division (AWD). Here at the Home Office, we have six new Colleagues. I sat down with one of our new hires to learn about her position in Customer Service. Find out what she has to say about working at AFA! Herlinda Sigala is a Customer service representative and her responsibilities include balancing school accounts, creating discrepancy reports, communicating with bookkeepers from the various schools and working any mail that comes through her department from her region. “Being with a company that has endless opportunities makes me feel secure and determined to expand my knowledge and grow with AFA,” Herlinda says. “I see myself here for many years!” My favorite thing about talking to our new hires is learning what they like most about working at AFA so far. It never fails – they always mention the people, and Herlinda’s response was no different. “Everyone is always happy and smiling.
