At American Fidelity it’s important that our leaders are on the same page when it comes to leading Colleagues to meet our goals. Each year, supervisors are required to attend leadership training where they focus on best practices and improving their leadership skills. Today and tomorrow our leaders will be on their way to learn, collaborate and lead the AFA way at Leadership Summit. With a leadership portfolio that spans across non-profit and for-profit worlds, Greg Hawks has embraced his calling of challenging and empowering leaders, teams and organizations to reach for greatness. With his wit and energy, Greg is providing a fresh perspective to our leaders this week. Leadership Summit ties directly to our strategic purpose of leading our industry with integrity, value and service. Leaders throughout the Company are leading breakout sessions to provide further training on Customer service, technology, branding, continuous improvement and succession and workforce planning. It’s important for our leaders to understand the various aspects that go into our business, and that means having a good grasp on what each area of the Company is doing to support our goals. Leaders have the opportunity to attend the Leadership Summit Exposition during breaks where they can learn more about certain departments within our organization. Booths have been set up and Colleagues are there to answer questions. How do you stay on top of current trends in leadership?
