Software Developers and Engineers Software developers and engineers at American Fidelity play a vital role in supporting Customers by developing and maintain software applications. They define system requirements, perform design and analysis, test and develop programs and perform routine maintenance and production support on applications. They collaborate with other areas to create and implement software solutions to help the business and Customers. Candidates need experience in software development; software requirements, analysis, design, code and test functions; programming languages; and project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall. Preferred skills include: communications, collaboration, adaptability, problem solving and time management. Data Warehouse/Business Intelligence Developer AFA’s data warehouse/business intelligence developer will create database solutions, develop ETL processes, manage data and metadata and provide support. This position develops business intelligence applications and assists business users in analyzing data through data warehouse and data marts. The ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and three years of experience. Candidates should be skilled in developing ETL and SQL processes, be able to work independently and collaboratively, be knowledgeable of both relational and multi-dimensional databases and have experience with project management methodologies such as Agile/Scrum and Waterfall.
