Benefits Claims Disability Team Leader At American Fidelity, the benefits claims disability team leader will oversee a team of claim adjusters responsible for processing disability and/or life insurance claims. The position will also train and develop claim adjusters and identify and resolve claim concerns. Candidates need five to seven years of experience with at least two in a leadership position. They should be able to adapt to new software and technology and excel in a paperless environment. Applicants need knowledge of the claims process, state and federal regulations, case management tools and medical terminology. Skills needed include: analytical, organizational, diplomacy, leadership, coaching and Customer service. HR Specialist The HR specialist at American Fidelity will be responsible for managing non-technical projects for the Corporate and Human Resources division and assist in all areas of HR, including compensation, HRIS, benefits, training and recruiting. This position will also serve as liaison to managers and Colleagues on HR projects and practices. Candidates need five to seven years of experience with one to two years of experience in human resources and knowledge of the HR areas listed above. They also need strong group facilitation, negotiation, communications, presentation, project management and analytical skills. Knowledge of software programs or applications such as Innotas and Visio are a plus.
