The benefits auditor reviews claim decisions made by benefits adjusters to verify they handled the process accurately and works with the management team to identify areas for improvement. This role plays an important part in our Customer service and business operations to ensure Customers receive the correct information.
Candidates need at least three years of related experience, advanced knowledge of medical terminology and insurance claim processing/regulations, confidence in decision making, research and analytical expertise, communications and training skills, leadership ability and Customer service focus. This position will have the opportunity to work a flexible schedule.
American Fidelity’s COBRA manager will manage and implement AFA’s COBRA administration service to Customers, including overseeing compliance of state and federal laws, process efficiency, meeting project goals and serving Customers. This position will also coordinate employer services such as platform use and dependent verification reviews and support new process development and work with Colleagues to improve current processes.
Candidates need a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or insurance and a minimum of three years experience working in employee benefits with COBRA administration experience. They must have strong project management and collaboration skills, be detail-oriented and analytical and be knowledgeable about the Affordable Care Act.
