Ginger Rice, Edie Cave, Dave Carpenter, Lorrie Gates,
This week I had the privilege of helping to recognize about two dozen of our Colleagues who have been recognized by their peers for providing excellent Customer service. The whole Company celebrated Customer Service Week, and these Colleagues represent the best of the best.
We invited the top achievers to lunch with Company President Dave Carpenter, and he thanked the group for their efforts on behalf of American Fidelity. Dave encouraged the Colleagues to continue their dedication to service.
The celebration also marked the end of the first year of our revamped Colleague recognition program: High 5!
Colleagues can nominate each other for a kudo if they appreciate a one-time action, or they can nominate fellow Colleagues for a 5 AF Recognition for consistently demonstrating our core values and living our brand. Since its debut, more than 800 nominations have been received to recognize 425 individual Colleagues.
This week, we honored the Colleagues who received the most acclaim during the past year. Lorrie Gates and Ginger Rice were the Gold Star achievers, and each received more than 10 nominations.
We also saluted Silver Star achievers, and presented honorable mention awards to Colleagues representing departments throughout the Company.
What types of recognition do you receive, and what types of recognition are most meaningful to you?
