At American Fidelity, we love recognizing our Colleagues for their hard work, but we also love it when external groups honor our Colleagues. One of our Colleagues, Kristina Evans, recently received the 30/30 NextGen award for being innovative, creative and inspiring. The award recognizes those under the age of 30 who have shown professional achievement, community involvement and commitment to Oklahoma’s future. Kristina works in our Association and Worksite Division (AWD) managing special projects. She joined AFA in 2012 has held positions in group underwriting and field training prior to her current role. “Kristina has done an amazing job since she started working as the AWD project coordinator over a year ago. She is responsible for many different projects, including daily coordination between the home office and field,” said Nancee Roberson, AWD COO. “Her experience in group product management has been valuable with all our disability projects and initiatives this year. As a leader, having people like Kristina around you make the difficult days a lot easier.” AFA works hard to reward Colleagues through our promote from within policy. Internal candidates are encouraged to apply for openings and to work with our career development specialist to prepare for new roles. Kristina has been able to work in several areas of the Company in just a few years, preparing her to take on the challenges of her new role. “Receiving the 30/30 NextGen award is an incredible honor. Being selected as one of the top professionals in the state under 30 is a true blessing,” Kristina shared. “God has given me opportunities that I never thought I would have, which is quite humbling.” Help us congratulate Kristina in the comments!
