Day in the Life: Marketing Specialist
Each month, we spotlight a different area of American Fidelity in our Day in the Life feature. This month, I interviewed Carrie Voden, a marketing specialist who works in the Worksite Group Marketing department. Carrie has been with AFA for more than a year and designs flyers, brochures and other marketing materials in addition to assisting with video production, creating presentations and answering account reps’ questions.
“I enjoy working with our account reps and helping them reach our Customers. Hearing their success stories makes me feel good about my job,” said Carrie. “I also like working with my team. We’re a creative, fun, energetic group.”
While Carrie focuses primarily on graphic design and video production, her department also handles copywriting, social media, proposals and creates conference materials. The Worksite Group Marketing team creates materials to help Customers clearly understand our products and services.
“We look for candidates who are open minded and have the ability to work as a team– we collaborate on projects and often offer suggestions to each other. They should also have strong communications skills and be able to keep the Customers’ needs in mind when designing materials,” said Carrie.
